A warm welcome awaits our pupils and their parents at INGATESTONE INFANT SCHOOL!

Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Ingatestone Infant School. I feel extremely proud and privileged to be the Interim Headteacher and warmly welcome you to our school website.

We are a small village school where traditional learning is valued and enjoyed alongside a modern global educational experience. At Ingatestone Infant School we strive to provide the highest quality of education, so that children achieve to the very best of their ability as well as helping all our children become happy, confident and successful individuals.

One of our strengths is the strong partnership which exists between all members of the school community, pupils, staff, parents, governors and the local community. We strive to create a happy, friendly, safe and encouraging place where everyone feels welcome and valued; where children are inspired to learn; a place where achievement is expected and is celebrated; a place where all members of the school community care about each other and are kind to each other; a place where positive relationships are built and where success of all kinds is noticed so we can take pride in all that we do.

We are very lucky to have an extremely dedicated and supportive staff team who work hard to provide the best opportunities for all our pupils in a safe and happy school environment.  We aim to build the skills, knowledge and positive attitudes necessary to help all our pupils become responsible, respectful and tolerant citizens of the future.

At our school we aim to provide the best possible education in a friendly, secure and caring environment. We value the uniqueness of each child and seek to foster in them a love of learning, an appreciation of beauty and a consideration for others. It is impossible to convey the friendly, caring atmosphere of our school. The only way is to see it for yourself! So, if you would like to visit, require any additional information or have any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Christmas Bazaar - Saturday 3rd December 1pm - 4pm

Hi all,

It's that time of year again! Tickets for our Christmas Bazaar are now on sale! Please click the link below to go through to our online shop:

Tickets are limited so book now so you don't miss out!

In order for our Christmas Bazaar to be a success we need donations and support from you all! We are in great need of volunteers to help set up, clear away and to run the various stalls. If you feel you are able to help please hand your name into the office and someone from The League of Friends will be in contact. This event wouldn’t be able to run without all your help so please let us know if you can spare any time at all!

We hold a raffle and silent auction which are incredible fundraisers for the school and we already have some fantastic prizes on offer. Raffle tickets will be in bookbags tomorrow - if you require more please just ask at the office! These prizes are purely donations from very generous parents and local businesses. If you have a prize or service you feel you would be able to offer for either the auction or raffle to aid our fundraising please let the office know / bring into the office.

We also need donations to sell on the stalls. If you have any of the following please bring to school and hand in to reception:

Cuddly Toys for Teddy tombola

Bottles for bottle tombola (any type of bottle – eg wine, bubble bath etc)

Mums that Make stall – anything homemade that may make nice gifts

Filled Jars – jars filled with anything such as sweets, stickers, trinkets etc

Cake donations for cake stall (to be brought in on the morning of 3rd December)

Thank you so much for your continued support. This is the last big fundraising event for the school this year so we need all your help in making it another success!

Many thanks

The League of Friends
