Ingatestone Infant School

    Firstly, may we welcome you to Ingatestone Infant School and say how delighted we are that you have chosen to                 send your child to our school.  We are looking forward to getting to know you and your child personally and believe this will be the start of a happy three years partnership with us at Ingatestone.

         Under current admission arrangements, we are pleased to be able to offer all new children a full-time place in September 2023. 

         We would like to invite all parents with children starting in September to a meeting at the school on Thursday                     8^th June 2023 at 6.00pm.  This will be an information evening where your questions will be answered.  For this reason, we would ask you not to bring children on this occasion.  There will also be examples of school uniform on show and a representative from our supplier will be present.

         We would like to invite the children to two play afternoons at school this term, when there will be opportunities for the children to meet each other and become familiar with the school.  The first of these will be on Friday 30th June 2023 when all the children will be invited.  On this occasion we would appreciate parents staying and joining us for drinks in the hall.  This will be an opportunity to meet members of our active League of Friends (parents fundraising association) purchase pre-loved uniform and meet with other new parents.  We may also ask you to complete any necessary forms and documentation that you have not yet had the opportunity to do.

        First Play Afternoon – Friday 30th June 

• Group 1 will be greeted at the gate at 1.45pm by the existing Pink Dolphins.
• Group 2 will be greeted at the gate at 2.00pm by the existing Pink Dolphins.
• All the children will join you in the hall at 2.45pm         

Second Play Afternoon – Friday 14th July

• Group 2 will be greeted at the gate at 1.30pm by the existing Grey Dolphins
• Group 1 will be greeted at the gate at 1.45pm by the existing Grey Dolphins. 
• On this occasion we ask that you drop your child off and arrive back at school to collect them from the hall at 2.45pm.
